On the surface, Home Profits Group looked like it might be something related to a business opportunity for working from home. Even the tag line of the site says so.
It takes a while but after telling you about what this opportunity is not (it isn’t gambling and it isn’t shady investing), it is finally revealed that this has to do with binary options trading.
The rest of the video is pretty much them trying to sell you the dream. Typical of these type of promos.
But there’s one thing I still don’t understand about these videos. One thing that I always use to quickly identify scams and call them out on their BS…
What Is It With The Fake Testimonials?
It seems like the trend these days. Every single review I’ve done about these binary options trading scams has all these fake testimonials where they pay some sellers on Fiverr to say nice things about their software.
And these actors are sometimes used over and over again.
It’s getting really easy to spot these people now because you’ve seen them talk about how they tried everything and then they finally used the software and are now making thousands.
Like this guy:
He’s dtp1987 on Fiverr and he’s been in a lot of these binary options promos. If you check out the review I did on China Millionaire, you can see that I exposed them for using this guy in their fake testimonials.
Here’s another guy they keep using.
This guy is another one that I instantly recognize because he’s been in so many of these. Once I see this guys face, you can be sure that you’re dealing with a scam.
Here’s my problem with the owners of these binary options promos and this should tell you how much these promos are scams and shouldn’t be taken seriously.
In the video, the voiceover guy says that lots of people have made money with Home Profits Group and that it’s the #1 work from home opportunity on the internet.
Now if this were true then that means that they have had feedback from people who were making money with their program.
So how hard would it be to get a REAL person to write an email or do a video telling them about their success?
If they’re going to go with fake testimonials then I am inclined to believe that these statements about people making money are untrue.
In reality, I already know what’s going on with all of these promos and the truth is that no one is making money by getting involved with these programs.
Who Is Bill McRea?
I’m not sure if the guy told you his name during the video of Home Profits Group but just in case you wanted to know who’s really behind this scam, his name is Bill McRea.
He’s an internet marketer who has been doing this for a long time and I guess these guys know all these tricks but do not have any type of ethics or even a conscience.
This is why they’re faceless and hide behind a voiceover or even a fake persona.
If I come across anything else by Bill McRea from now on, it’s probably going to get avoided and that is the reason why they won’t come out and be honest with who they are.
Binary Options is Gambling
Well so much for framing this as a work from home opportunity. Trading binary options is far from working from home.
Although they say that this isn’t gambling, many of the brokers are actually closer to gaming platforms than actual trading platforms registered with the Security and Exchanges Commission. So what you’re actually doing is gambling.
I would never recommend that anyone sign up to trade binary options through one of these websites.
And the way the marketers frame some of these things is ridiculous, talking about how you do not need any experience or you just click a button and the software will do all the trades for you.
This is a surefire recipe for losing all your investment and if you’re going into this thinking that you’ll be relaxing on some exotic beach this time next month, you’re going to be severely disappointed.
I wish somehow that this trend could stop but people want to hear about easy money so the trend isn’t likely to stop anytime soon. I’ll just have to expose as many of them as I can through this website.
Home Profits Group Uses Option Rally
The broker Home Profits Group uses is Option Rally and this broker has been used by some of the other promos I’ve reviewed before including 2015 Millionaire.
In that review, where I first encountered Option Rally, I did some research and found that this broker was on a list of brokers who aren’t to be trusted.
Apparently there are lots of complaints about this broker ranging from withdrawal issues, pricing complaints and even lack of support.
If you’re going to be using Home Profits Group, unless for some reason they have multiple brokers that you can choose from, then you have no choice but to use Option Rally.
If this is the case then Home Profits Group is pointless and in my opinion a big scam. Avoid at all costs.
